Welcome Volunteer Shift Schedules

Thank you for your support as a Welcome Volunteer this year. To help us plan effectively, please use the links below to sign up for your choice of shifts during the 2026 season. Every volunteer must register for each shift individually.

Shift sign-ups are first-come, first-served. Unless otherwise specified, all Welcome Volunteers are asked to complete at least 3 shifts between May and October; additional shift dates will be available later in the season. In the event that your shift is canceled because of weather or other site conditions, it will still count as a completed shift.

Please carefully check the dates and times of all shifts for which you sign up. Volunteers shifts are scheduled to support the Garden’s busiest times for visitors and public program participants. These include but are not limited to:

  • Saturdays, including free biking and boating
  • Wednesday evening free fishing
  • Friday evening movie nights

Occasionally, Welcome Volunteer shifts will also be scheduled to support other public programs. For a full list of upcoming events at the Garden, visit our online calendar.
