Tree Map
Find your favorite trees and shrubs
Our 50-acre landscape contains more than a thousand trees and shrubs, including many that are rare, historic, or otherwise significant. Identify a favorite landmark or browse for garden inspiration using this GIS map, maintained and updated by our horticulture staff.
Tree Map
Each tree in Bartram’s Garden is represented here with a red dot. Click on any listing to see individual plantings as well as each plant’s common name, scientific name, family, genus, or species as well as historical data when available.
The map is also overlaid with other data to provide orientation and context: walking paths are highlighted in light green, fencing is highlighted in dark, and buildings are outlined in coral. Pale blue areas, some with alphanumeric labels, highlight sections of the Garden as they are managed discretely by staff.
