River Program Season Update for Fall 2024

September 18, 2024

Unfortunately, free Saturday boating will be closed until Spring 2025, and the Southwest Fish Off will also be canceled until next year. We are incredibly grateful to the Community Boathouse volunteers who help lead these programs each as well as to the experts who supported us this summer to ensure that river conditions and our program equipment were safe. However, owing to an unforeseen staffing disruption, we can’t safely host boating or the Fish Off in the coming weeks.

There are still great ways to connect with the river this season:

We know how disappointing this news is, especially after such a tumultuous summer. Please know that the decision was not made lightly and that we are committed to resuming the program in full next year. Hope we’ll see you in the Garden soon!
