Transmit/Transform: 2 Part Community Event (2018)

July 26, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Join WURD Radio, The Village of Arts and Humanities, and other community partners for a special two-part edition of “Transmit/Transform,” Thursday July 26th at Bartram’s Gardens, 5400 Lindbergh Blvd.

From 2pm-4pm, we’ll have a panel discussion on the topic of violence in the community, featuring the Rainey family, who were the focus of the award-winning documentary “Quest.” Then from 4pm-7pm, you’re invited to a unique community celebration as we uplift the lives of lost loved ones through personal art making, life-saving information and resources, and an opportunity for members of the community who have been directly impacted by neighborhood violence to share audio and video memorials!

Don’t miss this very special 2-part “Transmit/Transform” event! For more information, visit wurdradio.com or call 215-425-7875. Transmit / transform is part of the Wurd on Violence initiative, presented with generous support from the Lenfest Institute.

Please note that the panel discussion from 2pm-4pm is free and by R.S.V.P. ONLY. The remainder of the event from 4pm-7pm is free and open to the public with no R.S.V.P. required.
