(SPECIAL TOUR) The North Mile with Starr Herr Cardillo and Joel Fry: Old and New (2018)

November 10, 2018 @ 6:00 am - 7:00 am

Bartram’s Garden
5400 Lindbergh Blvd.
Philadelphia, 19143 United States

The Garden has long been a place for the exchange of ideas. In the 18th and 19thcentury, notable persons in the fields of art and science gathered here at this garden to walk its grounds and discuss abstract ideas and the issues of their time.  The Garden was a place of ideas and imagination – where the passing of the seasons and the intimate connection to the tides could spark inspiration and creativity. Join us this season as we explore the land through new lenses and with new teachers. Arrive ready to contribute to the conversation.

The North Mile with Miriam Klingler: Old and New

We will discuss the North Mile with Bartram’s Garden Educator Miriam Klingler over the course of a bicycle tour, facilitated with the assistance of the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia. We will have a fleet of bikes and helmets ready and there will be a golf cart available for anyone who wants to take the tour but isn’t able or interested in riding.
