Tea & Tunes @ The Bartram’s Apothecary Garden (2019)

The words Tea & Tunes beside a minimalist illustration of three people listening to music on headphones, arranged in a circle & bordered by leaves

July 21, 2019 @ 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm

Time: 4:30pm – 7:30pm

Tea & Tunes goes back to the source at Bartram’s Garden. Join us for an evening of delicious Rosey Maple teas, herb garden tours, and live music by Marty Gottlieb-Hollis (trumpet), St. Clair Simmons (trombone), Mel Wren (drums/electronics), and special guests. Healing herbs meet instrumental hip-hop and summer vibes, picnic style. Bring a blanket and get close with the plants and the peoples.

$10 online or at the door // $8 for members

$2 for SW Neighbors and ACCESS card holders. (More info here)

One iced tea included with all tickets.

Accessible Space! Curated by Naima Merella and Marty Gottlieb-Hollis.

About this space: This is a fully outdoor event, so please dress for the weather and bring your own blankets or folding chairs. Enter the garden and find bike or car parking at either the 56th Street Plaza or our main entrance at 5400 Lindbergh Blvd. You can then follow the signs to the Apothecary Garden Lawn!

Large portions of our 50+ acre botanical garden can be explored via wheelchair, though some of our woodland paths should be used at your own discretion. An ADA accessible portable toilet will be available nearby this event. We’re happy to make accommodations for guests with mobility limitations. If you have questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out ahead of the event.
