CANCELED SWWAG Workshop: Canning Uncommon Fruit
This workshop has been canceled.
Workshop goers will learn about the goumi berry, elderberries, chokeberries, and bush cherries; pick at the orchard and have the opportunity to learn best practices for jarring them.
Facilitators: Carly and Sharon (beginner).
Formalized in 2018, SWWAG represents a coalition of local farmers and growers, led collaboratively by the Urban Tree Connection, the Philadelphia Orchard Project, Sankofa Community Farm at Bartram’s Garden, and the Garden at CHOP Karabots.
