Sunset Birding by Kayak
Renowned Philly birder and environmental educator Tony Croasdale will take us out on the Schuylkill River at dusk for an informal bird paddle. Low tide will coincide with the setting sun, and we’ll get a unique opportunity to glide along the shoreline in kayaks and canoes and scope out mudflats and wooded riverbanks for bird life. Life jackets and boats will be provided, and we’ll have several binoculars to let you borrow if you don’t have a pair of your own (feel free to bring your own). Snacks and cool beverages will be available.
LOCATION
The Community Boathouse at Bartram’s Garden. (Follow the path from the parking lot through the Meadow, downhill to the Boathouse.)

Non-members: $10
