Stamp Making Workshop

August 18, 2013 @ 7:00 am - 10:00 am

Experiment with stamp making at Bartram’s Garden and wear your creation home! In the 18th century John Bartram was out carving designs onto his house and surrounding land. His designs are similar to the folk art traditions popularized on Pennsylvania barns in the 19th century. Art forms like fraktur and hex symbols are beautiful and often simple designs of nature. We are highlighting the designs of John Bartram by providing the materials in a relaxed workshop atmosphere. Enjoy the garden, use your eye for design and take home a souvenir of your experience!

Admission is free with a Bartram Day Pass, which is $12 per person, or $10 for seniors and students.  Free for Bartram Members.  Register with Leslie Gale at ">.
