CANCELED, RESCHEDULED TO 10/5 Southwest Fish-Off
Due to unsafe water conditions caused by recent rainfall, the 2025 Southwest Fish-Off has been rescheduled to the following Sunday, 10/5. To learn more about water quality testing of the Tidal Schuylkill River, click here.
We’re celebrating the tidal Schuylkill River’s autumn fish migration with a free, all-ages annual fishing derby!
No registration is necessary. Kids’ activities and snacks will be available.
Rules
- Catch and release only.
- One rod per person. You may use your own rod, bait, and tackle, or you may borrow our equipment; first-come, first-served.
- Free worms are available for bait.
- Waiver and registration must be completed upon arrival.
- All ages and abilities welcome. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Prizes will be distributed after noon. In the case of inclement weather, the rain date for this event is Sunday, October 5, 8am—12pm.
