Southwest Fish Off!

NOTE: The fishing derby registration is at capacity! We are no longer taking more registrants due to limited available fishing space.

 

A free fishing derby with art activities for all ages.

In partnership with Mural Arts, the Southwest Fish Off includes

  • A fishing derby with prizes
  • Free shrimp & grits breakfast for derby participants
  • Fish from our dock, the riverbank or from one of our rowboats
  • Free kids activities
  • Mark the rising tide— in real time —with artist Stacy Levy! Help create an interactive tide level on the land while the fishing tournament proceeds and the tide incrementally rises.

Rules:

  • One rod per person
  • Bring your own rod or borrow one of ours
  • Basic tackle and bait will be provided on a first come, first served basis
  • You can also use your own bait & tackle
  • No fishing license necessary
  • Catch and release
  • All ages and abilities welcome. Minors must be accompanied by an adult if fishing from one of our boats

Registration

  • Registration is FREE but is limited to 50 participants. It is recommended you pre-register to reserve your spot.
