Pour & Sip: Soap Making with a Twist

Learn the art of creating healthy, safe, hand-crafted soap using everyday natural ingredients such as essential oils, butters, and herbs that can be found in your own kitchen or garden. Learn about melt & pour soap making while you relax and create one-of-a-kind bar soaps to enjoy and share. Feel free to BYOB or enjoy some of our selections.

Charvalia (Char) Lovett is the creator of organic, hand crafted hair, body, bath, and aromatherapy products. She specializes in the use of oils, butters, fragrances and essential oils. After receiving a Bachelors in Business from Shippensburg University in 2004, she began hand making products and started “Char’s Creations.” Her products have been in national expos and events such as Shecky’s girls Night Out, Natural Hair Care Expo, Taliah Waajid Natural Hair Care Expo and a host of other natural hair and body care expos.

This event will take place in a space that is accessible via wheelchair. ADA accessible bathrooms will be available nearby, as well. We’re happy to make accommodations for guests with mobility limitations. Large portions of our 50+ acre botanical garden can be explored via wheelchair, though some of our paths should be used at your own discretion. If you have questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out ahead of the event.
