Saturday Free Boating

Please note: to avoid the peak heat index, Saturday Free Boating will take place from 3-7pm, July through August. 

This week’s free boating event will be followed by Street Movies! with Scribe Video Center, as well as live music by Hudson River. Come for kayaking, stay for free outdoor screenings of independent short films and videos.

Join us for free kayaking and rowing on the Tidal Schuylkill River!

• No pre-registration or experience is necessary.
• Suitable for all ages and skill levels.
• Equipment, life jackets, and basic instruction for kayaking and row boating provided–first come, first served.
• Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
• The program may be canceled in the event of inclement weather or unsafe river conditions.
