Philadelphia Science Festival: Be A Watershed Scientist (2019)

Girl holding a green sticker that reads "I am a scientist"

April 28, 2019 @ 6:00 am - 10:00 am

Join Partnership for the Delaware Estuary and Bartram’s Garden for a fun-filled learning experience along the Schuylkill River! Take a stroll through our watershed education ‘stations’ to learn all about trash in our waterways by playing games and changing your perception.

Scientists aren’t always in the lab! Many water quality professionals work hard to protect our waterways from pollution, including litter and illegal dumping. We hope to inspire families in the Southwest community (and beyond) to take action in their neighborhoods and educate others.

This is a FREE event, with support from the Philadelphia Water Department, Bartram’s Garden, and The Franklin Institute. This program is part of the Philadelphia Science Festival at the Franklin Institute.
