A medium that presents its own challenges and advantages, acrylic painting can work for you outdoors!

Enjoy plein air painting within the the newly restored 19th century Carr Garden. Step by step instruction and materials will be provided. Each participant will take home their own painting of a beautiful Bartram’s Garden landscape.

Free for members; $18 non-members.

Heather Rinehart has a professional background in illustration and design and a deep interest in nature and storytelling. Alina Josan studied painting at the Tyler School of Art. Her work has been commissioned by several notable historic institutions in Philadelphia. As highly knowledgeable Bartram’s Garden enthusiasts, these artists are in a unique position to offer their students instruction in multi-disciplinary place-based art.
