A National Historic Landmark, John Bartram’s 18th century stone farmhouse sits upon a rise at the center of the garden, overlooking the Schuylkill River. Join us for an evening of art, drinks, and stories as we paint the Bartram House. Materials, beverages, and instruction will be provided.
Teaching artist Heather Rinehart approaches fine art through her love of science and history. She has a professional background in illustration and design and a deep interest in nature and storytelling, offering her student’s instruction in multi-disciplinary place-based art.
$2 tickets for this event are available to eligible Southwest Philly neighbors and/or ACCESS Card holders! Large portions of our 50+ acre botanical garden can be explored via wheelchair, though some of our paths are currently awaiting repairs and should be used at your own discretion. If you have questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out ahead of the event.
