Nature Writing Workshop for Kids

April 19, 2015 @ 8:00 am - 9:00 am

In celebration of the release of Eleanor Stanford’s new collection of poems, Bartram’s Garden, we invite you to join us for an hour-long workshop for kids (ages 5 and up). Students will hone their craft with tips from our education staff, drawing inspiration from our 45-acre Garden in order create unique a piece of literary art to take home at the end of the session.

Please dress to be outside! Getting our hands a little bit dirty can be a key part of the writing process. Since we’ll be ranging widely in the garden, caregivers will be asked to remain onsite with their kids for the duration of the program in the interest of keeping everyone safe.

Cost: $10 or free for Bartram’s Garden Members.
