Mosaic Workshop

October 30 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Coach House
5400 Lindbergh Blvd
Philadelphia, PA 19143

Learn the ins and outs of creating mosaic art as a healing practice. Inspiration is sure to be easily found as you create a mosaic tile of your own. You may keep your tile or have it considered for inclusion in a larger installation that lives at Bartram’s Garden as a symbol of hope, renewal, and the dreams we have for our community. Come relax in an inviting botanical setting and create something beautiful.

All materials and safety equipment will be provided. This workshop is suitable for youth aged 12+, adults, and seniors.

This FREE event will center Southwest neighbors, but all are welcome.

About the instructor: Ellen Tiberino is a mosaic & ceramic artist and teacher. Born to visual artist parents, Ellen has developed as a prominent artist herself. Ellen works with stained glass in a method of mosaic, which she equates to “painting with glass.” Nature is one of her biggest inspirations, in which she is constantly amazed and astounded by the natural world around her. She seeks to highlight that wonder it in her artwork.
