Evening Canoe Paddle on the Lower Schuylkill – Cancelled

In partnership with Camden’s Urban Promise, this is a small group paddle from the the dock at Bartram’s Garden to Center City and back.  Participants will paddle in wooden canoes, hand-built by youth in the Urban Promise’s boat building program. The paddle  will be led by trained “River Guides”, high school aged youth who will provide basic paddling instruction.

Wooden canoes, paddles, and lifejackets will be provided.

All ages and skill levels welcome!

Arrive by 6:00 pm, we will depart the dock by 6:15 pm.

 

Please only sign up for one tour; it is the same program on all dates.

Expect moderate physical exertion. Minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

$10 for registration, 10 participants max per tour.
