Soil Safety Workshop
Farm Philly, a program of the Philadelphia Parks & Recreation Department, will host a FREE workshop on soil safety in partnership with the Environmental Protection Agency. Participants should bring a ziplock or container of soil from their gardens or property to have tested. Experts will be on hand to offer information about the risk of pollutants in urban soil, the best practices for gardening safely, and what resources exist to support their projects at home.
