Intro to Ayurveda: Pancha Bhutas (5 elements) in Nature

August 16 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Come learn traditional healing practices to support your digestive and mental health and wellness. As an Ayurvedic Practitioner, Neha will share the nature-based wisdom of Ayurveda and its beneficial practices to heal the body, mind, and spirit. Each 2-hour class will involve a teaching, along with some gentle guided practice of movement, hands-on bodywork, and meditation.

The first week will teach on the 5 elements and how they form the doshas and constitutional makeup of an individual. The second and third week will teach on the vital energy force and digestive fire and how to promote clear and steady mental wellness and digestion through food, herbs, yoga, & lifestyle practices.

Please register through the link below—while you will not be asked for your payment information through our registration page, each class session has a sliding-scale cost of $12-$20, with a limited number of $2 tickets reserved for our Southwest neighbors and ACCESS cardholders.

Payments can be made to the instructor directly by cash, check, or card at the event, or via Venmo (@patilneh) or CashApp ($pneh).  After you register, you will receive a link to a form with price points.

Yoga, Ayurveda, & meditation were a part of Neha’s home life since she was little. Her own health struggles inspired her to learn natural and non-invasive ways for healing. Neha is an Ayurvedic Consultant and applies her practical knowledge of traditional Ayurvedic & Yogic science and over 15 years of experience as a yoga teacher and social worker to support individuals to better and more fully understand themselves. Sakti Ayurvedic Wellness & Counseling offers comprehensive care, including Ayurvedic massage treatments, guidance on nutrition, spiritual healing work, therapeutic yoga, and holistic counseling.
