Scanners Darkly presents Homeworld / Otherworlds

banner for Homeworld / Otherworlds

October 20, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Bartram’s Garden
5400 Lindbergh Blvd.
Philadelphia, 19143 United States

A multimedia conversation and guided meditation exploring life on earth and beyond.

The program features an interactive conversation with a panel of guest speakers. Inspired by sci-fi classics and the upcoming Dune release on October 22, the dialogue will explore themes of Homeworld/Otherworlds with a focus on methods for making peaceful contact with otherworldly beings and sentient life that may exist beyond the realms of our planet and known reality.

Join Li Sumpter of Scanners Darkly and MythMedia Studios for a deep dive into the stuff science fiction is made of, with special guests Jean-Jacques Gabriel and Rashid Zakat.

FREE! Space is limited; registration is required.

As of July 30, 2021, Bartram’s Garden again requires that all people wear masks in all of our indoor spaces. To help limit the spread of COVID, please follow the current City of Philadelphia guidelines for visiting an outdoor public space.
