Holiday Card-Making in the Bartram House (2019)

A designated National Historic Landmark, the Bartram House sits watch over the historic core of Bartram’s Garden. Enjoy the holiday season with a tour of this unique and artful work of architecture, and be inspired to create handcrafted stationery within the respite of John Bartram’s cozy farmhouse.

Teaching artist Heather Rinehart approaches fine art through her love of science and history. She has a professional background in illustration and design and a deep interest in nature and storytelling, offering her student’s instruction in multi-disciplinary place-based art.

Members: $5

Non-Members: $18

$2 tickets for this event are available to eligible Southwest Philly neighbors and/or ACCESS Card holders! If you have either an ID with a SW Philly address or an ACCESS card, you can claim your $2 tickets to by visiting us in the Bartram’s Garden Welcome Center, emailing us at , or calling us at 215 729 5281 x112.

Large portions of our 50+ acre botanical garden can be explored via wheelchair, though some of our paths are currently awaiting repairs and should be used at your own discretion. If you have questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out ahead of the event.
