Grocery bill getting high? Want to learn how to grow your own food?
In this workshop hosted by Sankofa Community Farm at Bartram’s Garden and PASA, instructors Hajjah Glover, Ty Holmberg, and Emma Ford will teach participants how to:
- Build a functional and sturdy garden bed
- Plant and layout a thriving garden
- Protect your garden, including installing a chicken wire fence
- Maintain soil health and care for plants throughout the season
- Apply beginner-friendly gardening skills at home
- Receive take-home materials, including a pre-made garden bed, plants, and resources
