In this workshop hosted by Sankofa Community Farm at Bartram’s Garden and PASA, instructors Hajjah Glover, Ty Holmberg, and Emma Ford will teach participants how to:

  • Build a functional and sturdy garden bed
  • Plant and layout a thriving garden
  • Protect your garden, including installing a chicken wire fence
  • Maintain soil health and care for plants throughout the season
  • Apply beginner-friendly gardening skills at home
  • Receive take-home materials, including a pre-made garden bed, plants, and resources
