We will explore the garden, identifying what stage to harvest different crops, go over proper harvest methods, post-harvest handling, and storage. By following these processes, you will ensure the highest quality produce with the longest shelf life.

Location: The Garden at CHOP Karabots Pediatric Care Center, 4865 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA. The garden is located at the back of the parking lot behind the building. The parking lot is accessible from 48th Street.
Priority for workshop enrollment is given to neighbors living in Mill Creek, Haddington, & Southwest Philadelphia. Workshop registration is limited to 10-15. Light refreshments will be served. Children & youth are welcome, but childcare is not provided. Masks & social-distancing are requested for in-person workshops.
