Grow-It-Yourself (GIY) Workshop

February 15, 2015 @ 12:00 am - 2:00 pm

Learn how to grow your own food and start by joining us for our first GIY session of the year: “What can I grow in my garden?” This workshop is presented in partnership with the Community Farm and Food Resource Center at Bartram’s Garden (CFFRC).

These monthly programs and FREE and open to the community.

The Community Farm and Green Resource Center at Bartram’s Garden is a 3.5 acre farm and greenhouse that took root in 2012. This joint initiative increases access to local, organically grown food to Southwest Philadelphia residents, promoting self-reliance and a deeper relationship with the land and our food. CFFRC partners include the Agaston Urban Nutrition Initiative, Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS), Bartram’s Garden and City of Philadelphia Dept. of Parks and Recreation.
