SWWAG Workshop: Garden Basics: How to Start a Home Garden

Learn the basic fundamentals of starting a garden in your own backyard or community. From Soil to seeding, to type of plants, and best practices in growing summer crops.

Skill level: Beginner
Workshop leader: Nefertari Muhammad, Supreme Compost

Priority for workshop enrollment is given to neighbors living in Mill Creek, Haddington, & Southwest Philadelphia. Workshop registration is limited to 10-15. Light refreshments will be served. Children & youth are welcome, but childcare is not provided. Masks & social-distancing are requested for in-person workshops.
