Saturday Walk-Up Boating, July 15 (2017)

Our most popular river program! Explore this quiet stretch of the Schuylkill River on one of our kayaks or rowboats. No registration or boating experience necessary. All ages are welcome, minors must be accompanied by an adult. We provide the boats, life jackets and basic instruction. Boating excursions limited to 30 minutes. Please  check out our FAQ before coming!
Location
Free Saturday Boating embarks from our Community Boathouse,on the northern tip of Bartram’s Garden. Walk downhill from the Visitor Parking area onto the Meadow trail, which leads to the Boathouse (click here for a map).

Cancellations
We cancel in the event of certain weather and river conditions. Check the Boathouse’s Facebook page) for cancellation notices.
