**Boating is CANCELLED today due to heavy rains yesterday, which elevated the pollution levels, making it unsafe for recreation. Hope to see you next week**

Explore this quiet stretch of the Schuylkill River by kayak or rowboat. No registration or boating experience necessary. All ages are welcome, minors must be accompanied by an adult. We provide the boats, life jackets and very basic instruction. Boating excursions limited to 30 minutes. Wait can be up to an hour on our busiest days. Please  check out our FAQ before coming!

Location
Free Saturday Boating embarks from our Community Boathouse,on the northern tip of Bartram’s Garden. Walk downhill from the Visitor Parking area onto the Meadow trail, which leads to the Boathouse (click here for a map).

Cancellations
We cancel in the event of certain weather and river conditions. Check the Boathouse’s Facebook page) for cancellation notices.
