Free fishing is canceled on Thursday, July 2, owing to the extreme heat.

Wednesdays and Thursdays are for fishing!

  • All ages are welcome, no experience is necessary.
  • Free rods, tackle, bait, and basic instruction for catch-and-release fishing on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.
  • Catch and release only.
  • No fishing license or pre-registration is required.
  • Program runs weekly on Wednesdays and Thursdays from May 6—August 27 and may be canceled in the event of inclement weather or unsafe river conditions.
