Food Fermentation & Preservation (SWWAG Workshop)
Make kimchi or sauerkraut to ferment at home and learn about all the ways to preserve the harvest for the winter! Class will be held in the pavilion at the back of the parking lot accessible from 48th street. Masks and social distancing required.
Led by Carly Jade Freedman
This workshop is offered by the Southwest/West Agriculture Network (SWWAG). Priority for workshop enrollment is given to neighbors living in Mill Creek, Haddington, & Southwest Philadelphia. Registration is limited to 10-15. Light refreshments will be served. Children and youth are welcome, but childcare is not provided.
