Thunder Moon Rowboating (2019)

Full moon in purple and orange sky over silhouettes of treetops

July 18, 2019 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Bartram’s Garden Community Boathouse
5400 Lindbergh Blvd.
Philadelphia, PA 19143 United States

Celebrate the Thunder Moon with us!

Despite a chance of actual thunder storms in the evening, the non-boating portion of this event is certain to happen, rain or shine. Feel free to stay tuned for updates on whether this event will happen indoors in the Bartram’s Garden Barn or outdoors at the Community Boathouse.

Either way, though, we’ll start off the evening off at 7 pm sharp with a special performance by Drum Like A Lady, led by women and governed by percussion. All are welcome to enjoy and join this thunderous jam! Feel free to bring an instrument of your own or use one of the extra instruments provided on site. Following the performance, enjoy music by DJ DuiJi 13 and a bar laden with delicious garden cocktails.

Please note:

  • Boating will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis from 7pm to 9pm. Weather permitting, of course.
  • All guests must sign a waiver on site if they wish to go boating
  • Illuminated youth-built skiffs, safety equipment & basic instruction all provided

FREE & OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
