Flower Moon Rowboating (2018)

Part of our Full Moon Rowboating series.

Take in the wonders of Stacy Levy’s Tide Fields in the evening and row the full moon tide in brightly lit skiffs built by Philly youth. Each event is themed to the moon (Flower, Solstice, Thunder, Sturgeon, Harvest). At all events: Basic instruction & safety boaters will be provided by Boathouse volunteers. 30-minute time limit for boating per participant. Sounds provided by Osagie. Light snacks, cocktails, and refreshments available by donation. A telescope available for full moon observation.

–       Exploration of the role of nighttime pollinator species in the river ecosystem

–       Night-blooming plants for sale at discounted rates.   

–       Rose, calendula, violet-infused cocktails and lemonades.
