Sankofa Community Farm Volunteer Day

Health reminders: We are in accordance with Pennsylvania and the City of Philadelphia’s current COVID-19 response levels. Please follow the link to stay up-to-date on our city’s protocols. If you are sick or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please do not volunteer.

Volunteers will work alongside Farm staff to support seasonal plantings, harvesting, weeding, invasive species removal, and orchard support.

Volunteers will meet at the Sankofa Community Farm at 9:30 AM and be separated into groups and provided with instructions and safety protocols for the day. Out of respect and safety for our staff and others, please arrive on time.

PLEASE NOTE: Each adult must register individually in order to complete the waiver. Parents/guardians must complete registration for individuals 18 and under.

Registration full but would like to still participate? Please contact Sarah Adeniran at sadeniran@bartramsgarden to be added to our waitlist.

Please also email Sarah immediately if you plan on cancelling your attendance, so that we may make room for those on our waitlist.
