Fall Plant Sale & Free Workshops

Join us in the Garden for our annual fall plant sale. You’ll find not only great deals on plants and seeds for your fall garden but free activities focused on gardening and the land as well.

  • 30% off purchases of 10 or more plants from our perennials, grasses, and shrubs sections
  • Pollinator package deals
    • A limited selection of premade pollinator garden packages of various sizes and light needs will be available for purchase online from Saturday, September 6-13. These packages are available for online pre-order, in-person pick-up only. Click here to browse our online store.

 

Free Events

  • 10-11am: Garden Tour – Seed Collection in the Fall Garden with Building Your Home Apothecary instructor Maebh Aguilar (leaves from the Barnyard)
  • 11am-1pm: Bio Blitz with Plant Recorder Hannah Dominguez in the Meadow
  • 1-2pm: Propagation Workshop with Director of Landscapes and Facilities Tom Reber in the Historic Barn
  • 12-2pm: The Root Exchange Book Swap with TOTPAD in the Coach House. Please register in advance for the book swap here.
  • Come join us for TOTPAD’s first-ever in-person event! This free event for the Philadelphia community provides a safe space to connect with others, get access to various resources, and, of course, exchange books. Although bringing a book to swap is not mandatory, it is highly encouraged. If you are bringing a book to swap, please make sure it is of good to very good quality & has no annotations. Books can vary from textbooks to children’s picture books.
