Brown Brainy Brilliant Book Festival

June 5, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Calling young bookworms! We’re kicking off summer reading with the Brown Brainy Brilliant Book Festival. This is an annual free literary event showcasing a diverse group of independently published authors from around the country—particularly those of color and from the LGBTQ community.

Enjoy storytimes, kids’ activities, and outdoor wellness—not to mention vendors and books! Although children’s literature is the main attraction, this event is open to various genres and is designed for readers of all ages in the surrounding community and Philadelphia area.

The aim of the Brown Brainy Brilliant Book Festival is to highlight familiar and emerging voices, and kick off and encourage summer reading and learning. See yourself in these stories!
