Big Old Kids Party (November 2019)

November 2, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

A note from Bartram’s Garden: While admission to the garden and to this fundraiser is FREE, please note that some of the activities, drinks and snacks will require purchasing special tickets, available at the organizer’s website here or by scrolling down to the link below. However, a limited number of $2 VIP tickets are available to Southwest Philly Residents or ACCESS Card holders while supplies last!

The Big Old Kids Party is an event to help us heal by bringing out our inner child and celebrating life before the BillS! It’s a day we come out to be free and enjoy ourselves through reliving some of our favorite childhood games and activities. This event is for US (Grown Ups), so leave the kids at home (or RSVP for our FREE childcare) and bring the kid within. This is nostalgic ride back to the 99’s and 2000’s!

This fundraiser doesn’t only raise awareness for #InnerChildTherapy but also raises money for the ECO Foundation’s community grant initiatives that support individuals and small businesses with getting to the next level.

Dress as bummy and comfy as you want! We’re moonbouncing, playing musical chairs, riding horses, having throwback dance contests, and hella other dope activities. You don’t wanna be the one dripping adult kool aid on your fresh drip #YoungBulStains! Don’t trip… we’ll have shirts from our vendors you can win or buy for the low. We won’t just have all of your sugary favorites. We’ll also have food vendors with vegan options, and BOKtails if you’re 21 (w/ valid ID).

We’re ending the night with a glow in the dark throwback dance party, so brush up on your Chickenhead and Chicken Noodle Soup (don’t forget the soda on the side).

We have other surprises we can’t disclose at this time, but in the meantime between time RSVP with the package that works for you!

About The Organizers

The Education Culture Opportunities (ECO) Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization that creatively educates people through art and entertainment while connecting them with opportunities to better themselves and their communities.

Mother Nurture is an organization that promotes self love and healing through creating skincare and other cosmetics using organic material in an attempt to provide a more natural approach in the ways that we take care of ourselves.

Large portions of our 50+ acre botanical garden can be explored via wheelchair, though some of our paths should be used at your own discretion. This event will take place in the Eastwick Pavilion, a space that is accessible via wheelchair. However, there are no ADA accessible bathrooms located within the pavilion. The nearest wheelchair accessible bathrooms are in a different section of the garden, a few hundred yards away. If you have questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out ahead of the event!
