Bartram’s Mile: Bike Tour

November 3, 2012 @ 8:30 am - 11:00 am

Join us for a group bike excursion and find out more about an exciting project that is underway to convert one mile of currently vacant riverfront property into public green space! Please be sure to dress comfortably and bring water. Please bring your own bicycle and helmet.

This project is currently being referred to as “Bartram’s Mile” and several partners are involved: Philadelphia Parks and Recreation, the Schuylkill River Development Corporation (SRDC) and the John Bartram Association. A series of public events and meetings will be convened over the next few months by PennPraxis. Your input is essential to this project and will help the City of Philadelphia create a vibrant public space to be enjoyed for years to come.

This event is co-organized with the Greater Philadelphia Bicycle Coalition. RSVP here: or 215-573-8720
