CONCERT: The Waveshaper Project presents Tether, Sad Hana, Wolf Dem & zzMKU

The Waveshaper Project is a new collective and event series for and by female and trans-spectrum electronic musicians in Philadelphia. The Project’s goal is to create a platform for people who typically are given less of a voice in the electronic music world to share their music and their knowledge with each other and the community in a welcoming, accessible environment. This is their first curated show, showcasing the diverse sounds of some great Philadelphia-area artists.
TETHER (Lauren Pakradooni) is an ongoing experimental music project using handmade cassette tape loops, effects and vocals.
SAD HANA (Kara Morgan) is a projection of emotional vulnerability and frustration through performance, singing, and synthesized creeping dreamscapes.
WOLF DEM (Lars Kallich and Elena Nestico) is a live electronics act, drawing in equal parts on dancehall, techno, and noise to create an immersive and hypnotic sound. With past releases on New Low and Vague Audio Tapes; this year they have a tape coming up for End Result Productions and a 12″ in the pipeline for Great Circles.
ZZMKU (Emma Kay) is a singular artist influenced by industrial music, radical self determination, and synthetic hormones.
