Apply to the 2026 Building Your Home Apothecary Course

Hi, thanks for your interest in our Building Your Home Apothecary course! This class runs from mid–March to mid–November 2026, with a time commitment of:

  • one 6-hour Sunday daytime class per month,
  • one 2-hour Thursday evening class per month,
  • 2-3 hours of homework assignments per month, outside of class,
  • 3-6 hours of garden or apothecary work shift per month, outside of class

This class meets entirely in-person. What takes place in class is part of the magic! Most lectures will include supplemental materials, but will not be recorded or repeated. The core aspect of the community built in this course is our time spent together in person, learning from each other and the garden. This class is a community project; we expect everyone to contribute.

We ask you to take a moment now and consider your capacity to make the time commitment to Building Your Home Apothecary, as this class is a commitment of 15 –20 hours per month. Every year we have 4x as many applicants as we have spots. To that end, we have high expectations for class attendance and participation. We ask that you miss no more than one Sunday class and one Thursday evening class.

Class dates are being finalized, and a schedule with exact dates will be provided upon acceptance. If you are worried about scheduling conflicts, please make note of that in your application. Thanks again for your interest in the Building Your Home Apothecary course! We will send application responses in late January/early February.
