Maitreyi Roy, the executive director of Bartram’s Garden, has been asked to serve on the transition team for Philadelphia Mayor-elect Jim Kenney. This is a group of 170 metropolitan residents representing key areas of government, community, and civic life in the City of Brotherly Love.

Says Maitreyi: “I look forward to working with Mayor-elect Kenney’s Environment and Sustainability Transition Committee members to take public input, and develop robust ideas and recommendations for the new administration. Please engage in the four upcoming public-input sessions that Mayor-elect  Kenney is holding to voice your opinions.”
