Avoid the Memorial Day Shore weekend crowds and spend a balmy afternoon on the Schuylkill River. Round-trip cruises to the Fairmount Water Works depart from the Bartram Dock at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 28.
Tickets are $15 for John Bartram Association members and $20 for non-members. Reservations are required. Call 215-729-5281 x100, or print and mail reservation form.
Cruises depart from the meadow at Bartram’s Garden, about a fifth of a mile moderate walk from the parking lot. Steps are involved to board the vessel. Wear comfortable shoes. Cruises run rain or shine. Parking is free.
Please arrive ½ hour before departure time.
