EDUCATION & PROGRAMS

EDUCATION PROGRAMS

Education is an important part of the John Bartram Association mission. Every year, nearly 9,000 school children visit Bartram’s Garden to enjoy interactive history, science, and nature programs.

The Garden also offers historic and horticultural lectures and workshops and houses a wealth of Bartram-related books, documents, photographs, and other archival information in the John Bowman Bartram Special Collections Library.

Educational field trips benefit school and summer groups, ages pre-K to high school! Our hands-on educational lessons offer direct experiences with nature and conform to academic standards.  Make your reservations today.

Little Explorers:  a monthly garden adventure for toddlers (ages 2-4).

Homeschooler Days:  a monthly program series for homeschooled students (ages 5 – 13)

The John Bartram Association is grateful to the supporters who have given $1,000 or more for education programs at Bartram’s Garden.
