Now accepting reservations for the 2011 tour season!Tour America’s first botanic garden, which showcases the Bartram collection of North American plants, and the Bartram house, a one-of-a-kind structure and National Historic Landmark. Learn about John and William Bartram’s preservation and propagation of native flowers, shrubs and trees. Your group can also “get their hands dirty” with experiential tours that mix gardening and art with the Bartram story. Located on the banks of the Schuylkill River, just 20 minutes from Center City Philadelphia, Bartram’s Garden’s urban oasis is a must-see experience for groups interested in gardening, history, science and nature. Free on-site motorcoach parking is available with pick up/drop off just steps from the house and garden. The site includes bathrooms, a gift shop, and spaces for lunch, meetings and workshops. Our Group Tour Coordinator can assist you in designing the perfect program for your group, whether it’s the perennial favorite, a 90-minute house & garden tour, or a full day of activities at Bartram’s Garden. Groups of 20 or more can also enjoy a delicious catered lunch in one of our historic buildings. Whatever package you design, your visit to Bartram’s Garden will be an unforgettable experience for all. Please note that group rates are based on a minimum group size of 10 people or more.
